Mindfulness training (= attention training, conscious living & working) has been proven to be effective in developing self-insight, focus, stress reduction and resilience and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Many companies and organizations, including some of the largest — such as Sony, Patagonia, Bosch and Google and many universities and medical centers — are offering programs to foster mindful practices among their workers. It has lead to more resilience, productivity and job satisfaction and it has saved some organizations millions of euros/dollars in health-care costs (eg. Bosch and NSH (UK)).
